The Pangarchulla Trek is an exciting journey that offers a thrilling mix of adventure, stunning landscapes, and an opportunity to stand on the summit of a real Himalayan peak. The trek combines the scenic Kuari Pass route with a midnight summit push to Pangarchulla Peak at 4,590 m — rewarding climbers with a 360° panorama of Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Dronagiri, Hathi Parbat, and the entire Garhwal Himalayan range at sunrise. The trail passes through traditional Himalayan villages, ancient oak forests, and vast alpine meadows, making it an ideal challenge for trekkers seeking to push beyond the ordinary.
Guide Note
The summit day is extremely challenging — 10–12 hours of steep ascent starting at midnight. Good fitness and prior trekking experience are essential.

7 days of traverse through changing landscapes. From dense forests to alpine meadows and snow-capped passes.
Arrival at Karchi
Arrive at Karchi, a quaint village that serves as the starting point. Attend a briefing session about the trek, ensure all gear and supplies are ready, and stay overnight in a guesthouse.
Karchi to Akhrotgetha
The trail winds through Karchi Village, offering glimpses of traditional Himalayan life. The path gradually ascends through enchanting forests and flower-strewn meadows.
Akhrotgetha to Khullara
A moderate climb through ancient oak and rhododendron forests with panoramic views unfolding with each step. Stunning views of Dronagiri and Hathi Parbat dominate the horizon.
Acclimatization — Khullara to Kuari Pass and back
Acclimatization day. Trek to Kuari Pass for sweeping views, then return to Khullara. Early dinner is served, as the summit day begins at midnight.
Pangarchulla Summit (4,590 m) and back to Khullara
THE DAY. Trek starts at midnight under a canopy of stars. Steep ascents through rocky terrain lead to the summit as dawn breaks — revealing a jaw-dropping 360° panorama of Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, and the entire Garhwal range glowing in first light. Return to Khullara exhausted but elated.
Khullara to Karchi
Descend through forests and meadows for the final time, savouring the last views of the peaks. Overnight stay at Karchi Village.
Departure from Karchi
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Karchi, reflecting on the incredible achievement. Depart for onward journey, carrying memories of the Himalayan sunrise from the summit.

All cancellations must be communicated in writing. Refunds are processed within 7-10 working days.
- Cancellations made 15–30 days before departure: 50% of total cost charged as cancellation fees.
- Cancellations made within 0–15 days of departure: 100% of total cost charged as cancellation fees.
- In unforeseen weather or government restrictions, the operator will try to provide an alternate. Cash refund will not apply.
